You may have seen on my stories last week that I had the pleasure of being asked to decorate my Aunt and Uncle's wedding celebration.

Our initial conversation included:
• "Not a lot of fuss"
• Green, cream and silver
• Somewhere nice for pictures
• "I'd be happy with a few balloons"

Our monthly workshop for adults to unwind, switch off and get creative.

✨ No experience needed – the whole point is to try something new, relax and enjoy the process.

✨ Come with a friend or come on your own – you'll always find a warm welcome.

✨ Take some time out from the demands of everyday life and enjoy a few hours just for you.

A new weekly creative space for secondary school–aged teens 🎨

Teen Studio is all about providing a relaxed, welcoming environment where young people can get creative, socialise, and tdyy something new, while taking a break from screens and everyday pressures.

Each week includes different hands-on craft activities with no experience needed — just come along and give it a go!

💛 A positive, pressure-free space to create, connect, and unwind.

📅 Fridays | 6–8pm
📍 Random Cafe, Meriden

Sometimes craft club isn’t really about the craft at all 🩵

Yes, we come together to paint, stitch, make, create and try new things… but what people often leave with is something much bigger.

At a recent workshop, one lovely member arrived with a headache she’d been struggling with for weeks. Halfway through the session, her friend asked how she was feeling — and she realised something amazing:

Her headache had gone.

Not because of medicine.
Not because the problem disappeared.
But because, for the first time in weeks, she had completely switched off from everything outside the room.

No constant thinking.
No pressure.
No rushing.
Just a couple of hours of creating, chatting, laughing and being present.

Safe to say I cried when she told me because that’s what these workshops are really about.

A little pocket of calm.
A bit of “me time.”
A chance to breathe again ✨
