When someone asks: “Where do you go to the gym?” 🫢

I used to love training at my favourite gym The Stoke Park but sadly, the old club closed in 2021.

Honestly, I still haven’t found a gym I liked more so these days my workout is a little more… domestic. 😅
BTW, one night out with the girls (Slavic girls), we had a laugh creating the “perfect woman” by voting for each other’s best features. 😂

My friends picked my arms. 😅
No wonder! 😆🧽🫧🪟💪

I was instantly fascinated by Erwin Blumenfeld’s iconic Vogue portrait of Jean Patchett when I first saw it and like most people, Marilyn Monroe’s image has never left me indifferent either.

So many artists have painted Marilyn’s face again and again and no wonder…
But I wanted to create something more personal.

I decided to blend Jean’s and Marilyn’s faces together to create something new, rather than simply copy either of them.

I created several versions of my own girl, experimenting with different colours and styles, even a T-shirt sample and I think I’ve finally found my favourite. 🙂💙💜🩷

Ready to go out! 🎀
A few quick snaps of my outfit before the sun disappears again. ☀️😀

I designed this dress about four years ago. 🙂

It was made by a professional dressmaker in the Czech Republic because at the time, I wasn’t confident enough to cut into such precious fabric! 🫢✂️🩷🪡

The dress is made from organic cotton, with a beautiful lining in a blend of smooth silk and organic cotton.

Sadly, it doesn’t fit me quite as perfectly as I’d like. The dressmaker only had one opportunity to pin it on me. 🫣

Originally, I wanted to make this dress from a fabric I designed a bit earlier.
But first, I wanted to see whether I actually liked the shape on me as the fabric was custom-printed on silky organic poplin and it cost me an arm and a leg! 😁😅

I called the fabric ‘Cinderella’ because the pattern is made up of pink high heels arranged like little ornaments. 👠🌸

And now I’m wondering… what story does my Cinderella fabric deserve? 😆

Should I make something completely different from it, or simply put it back in the cupboard and let Cinderella sleep? 🫣😆

I can’t quite believe I’m wearing a wool dress in June! 🫣😅

Rushing out to meet a friend, I realised my wrap dress felt a little more revealing than expected and the weather was surprisingly chilly anyway so I reached for the nearest scarf that matched my outfit.

It turned out to be one of my own designs… a large silk scarf I created years ago. 🏊‍♀️😃

Looking back, I think the last time I wore it was on holiday 4–5 years ago!😎☀️💦
I still love the little swimmers supporting one another…
a reflection of the sisterhood and connection at the heart of Sasi London.🩷🤗
The brand itself is something I’m hoping to grow properly one day. No pressure, no deadlines… right now I’m enjoying motherhood and letting this dream take the scenic route. 😉🚤✨

P.S. If I redesigned it today, I’d probably add tropical flowers, leaves or even a few boats. 🤔🚤🌿🌺🐚

Here I am posing in front of my artwork, “Sailor Sisters” (Blue Collection). ⚓️

The inspiration came from a painting my son created when he was little. 🤗
These beautiful memories stayed with me and eventually found their way into this collection. 🩵💙🩵

The temperature has suddenly dropped again so I’m back in my favourite jeans and long sailor-style T-shirt, matching the theme and never stopping dreaming! 😀🙂
My painted girls are on their way to a glamorous summer party aboard a yacht cruising along the French Riviera! 😃🌊🛥️☀️🥂🍾🌸
