Excited to have new work in this year's annual show opening tomorrow - Thursday 16th October. Private view today 2pm-8pm so do get in touch if you're in London and would like an invitation for a sneak peak.

My six pieces explore the experience of observing Stone Curlew at a site in Norfolk where they gather after breeding. Watching as the light drops, and the fields come alive, filling the air with their haunting calls. Interrupted occasionally by passing lorries and pigs fighting for space in straw filled beds.

Looking forward to sharing more with you on here but if you can make it, the show will be running from 16th - 25th October and always delivers. All works can also be viewed/bought online via the Mall Galleries website.

This year, the Out of the Frame room will be showing work from the SWLA's Massingham Heath Project, an exciting residency with involvement from over 30 member artists to document the restoration and rewilding of an incredibly special heathland site in West Norfolk.

The garden had a dark visitor today. One fear stricken wood pigeon looked on as another was swiftly plucked clean. A crystalline sulphur stare, down-feather clinging to the pin hook-tip of its bill. Then it vanished into the shadows. A drama filled work lunch for pigeon, hawk and I.

Rather belatedly reflecting on a fleeting trip to Scotland to drop work off for the 'Drawn from Nature' exhibition at in April. Spent time watching this fisherman cleaning down lobster pots at in the sun, against the soundscape of kittiwakes spiraling their nests. Thank you for the company and .

The exhibition features drawings of mine of grey seals and ringed plover amongst other small things and gentle beasts so if you're in Scotland between now and 1st June, do go see!
