Watchet Community Choir We're a local choir where the main aim is to have fun! No singing skills required. Anyone can join! Watchet Community Choir was formed in 2016.

We are a choir for everyone in the community whether they can sing well or not. Our emphasis is on having an enjoyable experience. Choir meetings are led by Graham Kennedy (musical director) and Fiona Payne (conductor). We perform at many local community events. Performing is optional for choir members who choose if, when, where and how often they perform. We don't pretend to be the best choir you

have ever heard, but we're probably one of the most enthusiastic! We meet on most Monday evenings at 7.30pm for 1½ hours of fun. It's a room full of smiling faces! We have 40+ regular members, who are among the nicest, friendliest people you will ever meet. We have also become a vibrant community where many members have found new friends and a support network. We're always open for new members - you can be sure of a friendly welcome!

For those of you who weren't there, let me tell you that last night's performance was s-oo-oo-perb!
Everyone in the choir looked like they were having the time of their lives and the audience (a little thin on the ground🤔) were enraptured, with very large smiles, often joining in (even on The Lazy song!). It was terrif! It was a lot! It was cool AND lush!

Oh, and yes, I enjoyed it too! 😊

We are thrilled to receive a fantastic donation of £200 fundraised by Watchet Community Choir. It will help fund a watering system at our Williton polytunnel.

Ear worm alert!

For my choir friends, if I sing Sunnyside of the Street again, it will be too soon. It kept me awake until 4am this morning and is stopping me from nodding off this afternoon!
