Join us this Thursday, 18 June, 6–8pm for the opening of our new main gallery exhibition.

Stronger Seams: Beyond Coal brings together over 20 artists from the East Durham Artists’ Network (EDAN) in a powerful mixed media group show.

Developed in collaboration with the Durham University Energy Institute, the exhibition explores the question: what are we left with ‘after coal’?

Everyone is welcome — we’d love to see you there!

🎥 Coming up: Pink Floyd - The Wall
Featuring a dystopian Christmas chart topper and Bob Geldof sans eyebrows, The Wall is a phantasmagorical trip around Roger Waters battered psyche. Described as “one of the most miserable moments of my career” by director Alan Parker, The Wall is a slice of post-prog rock excellence.

Don''t miss Alex Redman at Washy Comedy Fest.

▶“Appealingly quirky” Chortle ▶“Alex is a comedic joy” Harriet Dyer

🤣 Peculiar, quirky, off-kilter, eccentric, odd, weird and kooky are all words that critics have used to describe Redman’s comedy. This has left Alex wondering “am I a freak?”. Maybe, or maybe she is just destined for a different world.

🤣 In Sunshine Space Cadet, Redman combs through the eccentricities of life, her sunny disposition, mental illness and the conflict that comes with being an oddball whilst also desperately wanting to be liked.
