We're excited to be continuing our partnership with Forefront Utilities as we expand our immersive Health & Safety VR training programme.

Following the success of the initial modules, we're now developing new scenarios that will further strengthen hazard awareness, decision-making and safe behaviours across the workforce.

At Skewb Climate, we believe the most effective training doesn't just tell people what to do, it allows them to experience situations, make decisions and learn from the consequences in a safe, controlled environment.

What started as an innovative approach to safety training is now evolving into a growing suite of immersive learning experiences, shaped by operational insight and the needs of the workforce.

It's fantastic to see immersive learning becoming an integral part of safety training within the utilities sector, and we look forward to sharing more as the programme continues to grow.

A huge thank you to the team at Forefront Utilities for continuing to innovate with us and champion new approaches to workforce development.

Just One Week to Go!

Next week, we'll be heading to Birmingham for The Big Bang Fair 2026, joining thousands of students, educators, and industry professionals for three days of hands-on STEM inspiration.

From robotics and engineering to science, creativity, and innovation, The Big Bang Fair is all about showing young people where their interests can take them.

We'll be there showcasing how immersive, game-based learning can help make complex topics more engaging, accessible, and memorable for learners of all ages.

Don’t Miss The Big Bang Fair 2026

We’re excited to be joining IGEM - Institution of Gas Engineers & Managers - at the NEC in Birmingham from 9–11 June 2026 for The Big Bang Fair 2026.

The Big Bang Fair is packed with hands-on workshops, interactive experiences, and live shows designed to spark curiosity and inspire the next generation. From robotics and engineering to theatre, physics, and fashion, there’s something to engage every student, whatever their interests.

We can’t wait to be part of it and showcase how immersive, game-based learning can bring STEM and safety education to life.

This term has been all about real-world problem solving with Year 5 & 6 students!

Using Minecraft Education, they took on two disaster relief challenges:

🏗️ Building emergency shelters
⚡ Powering them with renewable energy

From designing structures to connecting circuits, students worked as teams to bring their ideas to life, and the results were incredible.

A big thank you to all of the schools involved this term 💚

We loved seeing your creativity and teamwork in action!

And of course, thanks to the Royal Air Force Youth Engagement Team for making these sessions possible.
