🎹 Supporting Our Wonderful Accompanist – David Windle 🎶

At Warton Singers, we're incredibly fortunate to have the talented David Windle as our accompanist. David is an accomplished organist with an impressive musical career, including many years playing the famous Wurlitzer organ at the iconic Blackpool Tower Ballroom.

We're delighted to share that David will be performing in two concerts on Saturday 25th July, and we'd love to encourage our friends, supporters and choir members to go along and enjoy what promises to be a wonderful afternoon or evening of music.

Well, that's another year come to a close. 🎶🎶

We had two great open rehearsals with 10 new singers joining us in singing new songs and old favourites.

Now it's time for our summer break (after our annual summer social gathering this coming Friday😊)

If you enjoy singing and want to be part of a friendly, successful, growing, fantastic singing group, we resume rehearsals at 7.30pm on Friday, September 4th in Warton Village Hall, Church Rd, Warton, PR4 1BD. Just turn up or contact our secretary, Sally on 07939 922742 for more information.

No scary auditions, no previous experience needed, just a desire to sing and a love of good music.

You can be in more than one choir, you know........ Come and try ours.

Under the direction of well-known Fylde conductor and singer, Stewart Hankinson and with our wonderful accompanist, David Windle, you can be assured of a great time.

🎶 Last Open Rehearsal Tonight! 🎶

Come along and join Warton Singers for our last open rehearsal tonight at 7.30pm at the Community Centre, Church Road.

Don't worry about the heat – we'll have plenty of fans to help keep everyone cool! 🌞❄️

Whether you're an experienced singer or just enjoy singing for fun, we'd love to welcome you. Come along, have a sing, and meet our friendly choir.

If you can't make it tonight, don't worry! We'll be starting our next term in September as we begin rehearsing for our Christmas concert. We'd love to see you then!

🎶 Come and Sing with Warton Singers! 🎶

Have you ever thought about joining a choir? Our upcoming Open Rehearsals are the perfect opportunity to come along, meet us, and see what we're all about – no pressure, just a warm welcome and plenty of great music!

💙 Here's what one of our sopranos, Sarah Molloy, has to say:

“I joined Warton Singers when it restarted after Covid, having recently moved to the area. I had seen the banner by the traffic lights and have always loved to sing, so decided to give it a go.

From the outset, I found a group who were friendly and welcoming and I have made some good friends. The rehearsals are relaxed and fun. We learn a lot as we go along from Stewart, our excellent musical director, and our accompanist, David. We also have social events and raise money for local charities.

All in all it is a pleasure to be a part of this group and I would recommend anyone interested to give it a try - they will be warmly welcomed.”

Warton Singers will be opening our doors for FREE Open Rehearsals in just a few weeks!

On Saturday, we had an amazing time taking part in Warton Carnival Day! We proudly wore our Warton Singers hoodies, grabbed our banner, and rolled out our brand new speaker to sing for everyone in the procession. Thanks to everyone who came out and shared the fun with us! 🎤🎶
