Quick Pause and New Ideas!🎶🎶🎶

You may have noticed ​we have been temporarily out of action and not posting on Facebook as we normally would do.... but we certainly haven’t disappeared!

Here is a quick update on what's happening behind the scenes and where things stand.

With everything else that has been going on a trip to the hospital yesterday afternoon confirmed I (Lynn) have sprained ligaments behind the knee.

​Im back on crutches for the time being, managing some significant pain, and waiting for an upcoming physiotherapy appointment.

Luckily, it wasn't the leg with the knee replacement!

​The hardest part is being forced to rest and miss out on our activities and taking little Sammy our new dog out for his walks for a while.

​Despite the bad luck we are keeping spirits high and staying positive remains the top priority.

The forced downtime is being put to great use. A brand-new project may be on the cards and is currently in the works!
​Expect a lot of fun, plenty of reminiscing, and good times ahead.

​Watch this space—more exciting details will be coming soon once the knee has had a bit of time to mend! 😍🎵👏👏

Today we were in Gosport for our first visit to HEDCA Senior Citizens Group. What a brilliant afternoon full of laughter, singing and friendship.

We performed The Magic of the 1950's Show and from curtain up the audience were participating in the craziness and comedy mayhem that the Show conjures up. Loved hearing everyone sing and join in with reminiscing about their memories of the decade.

We were really made to feel so welcome and there was a chance to meet old friends and new. Fabulous time and so happy to be entertaining. 👏👏👏👏👏🪕🎵🤣🤣

We have had a bit of a traumatic month personally and are really sorry that we have not posted anything on Facebook for a while.

We will be performing two of our favourite productions in the weeks to come and can’t wait to be out there again.

Our favourite Show is definitely THE MAGIC OF THE 1950’S SHOW and the music, memories and mayhem in the production makes it really popular with our audiences. It is full of fun and laughter and that is just what we all need at the moment!

BACK TO THOSE HAPPY DAYS is also a fun Show with lots of reminiscing and audience participation. Loads to singalong to as well. The tribute to THE LONDON PALLADIUM is always a winner.

So with the Summer months ahead of us all it will be great to be able to catch up with you and enjoy everyone’s company as we celebrate with great music and comedy.

Another lovely day weatherwise and it was nice to drive out later this afternoon for a performance of Variety Showtime at Sunnybank House Care Home.

It was great to chat with the residents before curtain up and after a quick set up it was on with the Show.

As we journeyed through the decades we remembered Vaudeville, Broadway and the West End. Highlights today were the tributes to Max Bygraves and the Bachelors and everyone joined in with the songs. Really heartwarming!

There was lots of leg kicking and arm waving to New York New York and then loads of craziness with Abbamania. A fun time and a very welcoming and happy afternoon 🎶👏👏👏👏

What more could we ask for...! Sun, Songs and Smiles was the order of the day at Bupa UK with a performance of our When Your Smiling Show.

It was fabulous to be back there and what a lovely welcome we received. We could see we were in for a fun afternoon from the banter going on with us before the Show. We loved it and from curtain up everyone was singing, cheering, clapping and participating in the performance.

From Radio Years to the Silent Movies with Charlie Chaplin and a visit to the Seaside the laughs continued. With a finale tribute to the Swinging Sixties the party continued. What a great time we had and we are already looking forward to our next visit. 🎶🌟👏👏👏👏👏
