Behind the design… not done one for a while. This a little different.

I was asked to create a 7inch single design for the song LITTLE BRITAIN CAUGHT A COLD. I have seen OCS many times, to many to count. So this was an honour.

At one of the gigs on the acoustic tour in my home town of Warrington, Simon threw out his plectrum and it landed on the floor in front of me, I’ve kept that plectrum with the tickets ever since. This was way before vinyl soul had been thought about never mind been born.

When I came to create the design for the single, I needed a graphic for the A SIDE and B SIDE, I knew instantly what it had to be, this is why it’s a plectrum, a nod to that little bit of music memorabilia that reminds me of one of the many amazing gigs I’ve seen these lads play.
