This time next week and it really all will be over! 🤗 so much preparation, anticipation, excitement… all for their time to shine ✨ but it’s so worth it… you’re not just paying for dance lessons… you’re paying for -
Life Skills and Character Development - Discipline, teamwork, resilience, time management, and self-confidence 😍
Passion and Personal Growth - A safe space to build, grow, and pursue passion rather than just perfection 🫶
Community and Belonging - Lasting friendships, support systems, and a positive environment 🤗
Then there’s the memories 🥲 - dance will forever remain with them - part of their childhood. It might only be one lesson a week for some but it’s escapism… a chance to be at one with the music 🎵
It’s hearing a certain song 20 years from now and instantly feeling that same spark of childhood joy 🥹 I know…
I’m 26 yrs deep in this business… terrible at posting on here 😂 but it’s because I’m absorbed in the parts that really matter… preparing, planning, teaching 🤝 it’s all consuming but I wouldn’t change if for the world…
Be a dance teacher they said… it’s fun they said… and it really is 🥲 it’s not always easy (especially at 43 😂) but I’ve reached the point where I’ve taught the girls from being 3yrs+ and now they are my right hand girls…. it’s team work, and collaboration… Now, that’s what makes it so magical ✨
I am lucky to do lots of nice things within my year… but the dance show will forever be my highlight 🤩
For now I will bask in the last week of chaos, and as stressful as it is there’s always a kind of magic in the air this week 💫
So happy show week to all my dance stars and parents and may it always live on in your child’s fondest memories 🥹🥰
