Last night we had our first club night for 3 months, it was great to see everyone for the first time this year, thanks to those who made it possible and hopefully get back to weekly racing soon, results are attached with points now for qualifying added.🏁🏁🏁

John L, Graham and Garry have been doing some social distancing track building at our new premesis. We are using a lot of the old track , we have extended the main straight to 26.5 ft. The esses are now flat and don't go over the main straight and the back straight runs along the main straight instead of crossing over it. The problem corner on the bridge has gone yippee. The rostrum will be on the main straight and we will be running the opposite way around than before.
Friday night should be race night. Can't wait untill lock down is over then we can start building the track in our new premises. Then get back racing.

Well the next chapter in our eventful 12 month cycle has happened. The track and accessories have left the YMCA. A massive thank you to all that helped today loading the truck up we couldn't have done it with out you 👏.
A huge big thank you to the mystery landlord who has been so generous with all he as already done for us. So for those that haven't guessed already the track is going to culcheth

We have some very exciting news..... A former club member has been so kind and donated the use of a room to us. At the moment he wishes to remain anonymous. He is doing it purely to keep the club going, the offer he has made came out of the blue and has blown us all away. We will be moving the current track but it will need a bit of jiggling about to fit room, We are looking forward to new premises and a bright future. We have some sad news. The search for a new room has been unsuccessful. Therefore our last ever club meeting will be on Friday 20th March 2020. We have a BSL meeting on Sunday 15th March. It would be great to see plenty of racers there to give us a good send off. It would also be good to see any old members popping in to say hello. Please can racers that are coming let us know so we can accommodate everyone confortably and have a really good day. 🏁🚗🏁
A new decade and its not a good a start for us, we have been told that ymca is being closed for demolition at the end of March. At the moment we don't have anywhere to go, we are looking but no success yet. This comes as a big blow to us after the time effort and money put into our new track in 2019. The area round booked for February is NOT affected.
