Today, the park combines beautifully themed areas, world-class attractions, and lush natural surroundings to offer an exceptional guest experience. The development of Supersonic (train) in collaboration with marks another exciting chapter in Nigloland’s story—bringing a new generation of thrills with a high-speed coaster that reflects the park’s ambition, innovation, and commitment to unforgettable adventures.

2027 is set to be a landmark year and we can’t wait to get back to this wonderful park

On Sunday we visited with Nan and grandad for a lovely family day out in the sunshine ☀️

Nanny had been eyeing up Aviktas and was feeling extremely brave and wanted to try give it a go !

We are so proud of her, she smashed it and you wouldn’t have known she was nervous.

She likes it !!! She did say next time she will open her eyes on it 🫶

“Nash is back, back again”

Grand National opened its gates for riders for the first time in 2026 yesterday and although it took until around 4pm to open there was a real buzz of excitement with people queuing well outside the station, so much so that the 5pm close time came and went and had it not been for Aviktas having a tech hitch would have been the last running ride on the park.

First ride was the Andy Hine MBE red train, front row and row two and then onto the green train for a second ride. Ride experience was typical Grand National raucous, plenty of air time and comfortable when on the non wheeled seats!

It’s great to see this classic woody back on the tracks!

Aviktas opening day was a fantastic atmosphere and experience to be part of 💚🖤💛 AD

It was truely a day we feel so greatful to have been part of , being invited to there official press event preview and to be allowed to film on ride was a oh my gosh is this real pinch me moment !

Now here’s the thing , when we started out our page theme park eye it was for us to look back on our trips and adventures for us to enjoy capturing memories for future us to reminisce over .
We didn’t know we would be here now as content creators with so many wonderful followers that would also enjoy watching us having fun as a family together .
I call it an extremely happy accident because it’s been an incredibly journey we didn’t plan and wow we have loved every second of it .

Honesty truth bomb time , me Kate I’m terrified of being on camera 🤣 yes I know that sounds hilarious as I’m a content creator and I’m now trying to get over that .
I actually struggle a bit with this because I get imposter syndrome around the talented people creating all around us .
I still can’t quite believe we are here today having incredibly opportunity’s like pleasure beach inviting us to this event all because of how lucky we are to have people enjoy watching and wanting to follow us !
We will always be hugely grateful for every single person’s support 🥰 so thank you 🙏🏻

And this is why I’ve not yet posted our pov onride of Aviktas because let’s be honest, we are all human and sometimes we need to just to start to believe in ourselves like others do in us and step outside our comfort zone and post that’s pov ! Because if you step outside of your comfort zone who knows what fantastic things might await you !

So here you go us on Aviktas !

For 29 years, Euromir has been proving that a coaster doesn’t need to be the biggest or best to become legendary.

Its soundtrack lives rent-free in our heads. Its layout is wonderfully chaotic. The stunning towers. Its reputation has grown into full cult status. And it always attracts some of the most passionate, friendly, and fun people you’ll ever meet in a queue or on a ride. I can’t begin to count the number of rides we’ve had on it where it’s like a Euromir party!

Happy 29th Birthday, Euromir. The final birthday before the end of an era. Here’s to the music, the memories, and all the spins still to come before the season ends.

We are heading towards half way through 2026 so it felt like a good time to start to look at rollercoaster projects in mainland Europe.
Some of these are out in public and others are well rumoured but with opening dates TBC. Here are some of the things we know about for 2027.

Nigloland - SuperSonic Train, a Mack rides Stryker rollercoaster - expected to be a smaller Voltron at Europa Park.

Belantis - “unknown name”, a Gerstlauer launched family coaster with a spike and multi-directional launches, maybe a cross between 100% Wolf at Plopsaland Deutschland and Mecalodon at Walibi Belgium.

Magicland - “unknown name”, Italy’s first Wooden coaster by Gravity Group. With a €15million budget it’s expected that this will be a large and ambitious coaster maybe like Voyage at Holiday World.

Djurs Sommerland - Midgardsormen (the Midgard serpent), set to open in Spring 2027 it will anchor a massive new theme area for the park called Vikingeland, rumours point to it being an Intamin Hot Racer.

Grona Lund - Fenix, manufactured by Gerstlauer as an Airtime Coaster model featuring lap bar restraints and will fill the space left by the removal of the Jet Line coaster. Again thinking Mecaladon at Walibi Belgium.

Connyland - Massai, a Mack rides Stryker/ big dipper style coaster similar to Voltron at Europa Park or Lost Gravity at Walibi Holland, forming part of a new African theme area.

We kicked things off on Sunday with an early start and an extreme day trip across to Ireland with 🇬🇧✈️🇮🇪🎢

The mission? Get on Na Fianna Force at Emerald Park and enjoy a proper day of coaster chasing while we were there. With complimentary access thanks to our annual pass.

A big bonus from this one is that we’ve now managed to ride BOTH Vekoma Suspended Thrill Coasters (STCs) in the world, but it blows my mind that there are still only just two of these fantastic coasters in existence.

Na Fianna Force is silky smooth, has great forces (strong pull if you are at the back) and a fun mix of inversions, airtime and near miss elements built into the ride station of The Quest. In our opinion this is the better of the 2 STC installations - sorry Hals Uber Kopf!
