Unfortunately, the Open Mic along with the Acoustic Sessions on a Thursday at the Old Bell have now come to an end for the forseeable future. For those looking for a local Open Mic I continue to run one every other Tuesday at the Horse & Groom in Westbury. If we manage to restart this one or get one going in Warminter in the future, I will post the news on this page

In the meantime, thankyou to the artists and audience who supported the Chistmas Open Mic on 18th December with special thanks to Steve, Cath, Phil, Katy, Greg, Kirstie and Paul.

What a cracking night we all had on Thursday night at the second open mic at the Old Bell Hotel, Warminster. With variety of talented artists, I am truly grateful to Steve, Cath, Katy, Paul, Tony, MGB (Mandy & Bob), Neil and Sammi who came along, performed and supported this event. What a cracking first Open Mic we had at Old Bell Hotel last nght. Many thanks to all the great singers and players who supported the event and many who just dropped it in and stayed. Don't forget there are live artists here every Thursday with the Open Mic on the third Thursday of the month!

Starting on the18th September The Old Bell Hotel in Warminster will be running an Open Mic on the third Thursday of the month as part of the Acoustic Thursday evening series. Our host Francis Butler will be providing a relaxed, friendly and supportive environment for singers and musicians of all levels of ability. Starting at 7pm the slots will generally run in the order that our performers arrive. We do not book slots in advance and the slot lengths will vary according to the number of performers but if you just want to do one song that’s fine. Do try and make it an evening of it and support your fellow artists.

Microphones on stands, a mixer and PA with a monitor will be provided and a music stand and other hardware willl also be available.
