Join us this Sunday at The Ginger Piggery as we welcome the Summer Solstice with a day of craft, conversation, wildlife and connection.

The Folk Market is a chance to spend a few hours outdoors, meeting makers, browsing handmade work, eating good food, spending time together and discovering something new.

We’ll also be joined by TWO Bird Experiences , bringing Oxamyl the spectacled owl, offering an interactive opportunity to meet an owl up close and explore the stories, wildlife and landscapes that shape the countryside around us 🦉

With Father’s Day falling on the same day, it’s a good excuse to bring the family, wander the market together, and make a day of it. And with the weather looking beautifully warm, there’ll be ice cream on hand to help keep everyone cool.

This Sunday is the Summer Solstice, the longest day of the year.

Living where we do, it’s hard not to think about all the people who’ve gathered in this landscape before us. Wiltshire has a long history of midsummer celebrations, fairs, feasts and markets, bringing people together to share what they’ve made and grown.
That’s exactly what Folk Market is about.

Join us at The Ginger Piggery for a day celebrating local artists, makers and creatives. Expect original artwork, ceramics, textiles, jewellery, printmaking and plenty of beautiful things made by hand. And maybe a few curious creatures or two... 👀🦉
