Warminsters local musical theatre group which produces up to 3 amazing productions a year - an annual pantomime, a youth and adult musical. Auditions are open to all and are usuall an informal workshop style with no preparation required. The group is known for nourishing and developing new talent. Always happy to welcome new faces both on and off stage.

One woman. One stage. One incredible challenge. ❤️🎭

If you've been to an Athenaeum Masqueraders production before, there's a good chance you'll recognise this face…

Claire has appeared in many of our shows over the years, but this Saturday she's doing something rather special.

She's stepping onto that stage completely on her own and taking on the iconic role of Shirley Valentine.

No cast around her. No one else to pick up the story. Just Claire, Shirley, a wall… and an entire audience. 😳

Taking on a one-woman play is a huge undertaking; learning it, rehearsing it and then having the courage to walk onto that stage and command it for the whole performance.

So we'd really love to see the Athenaeum full for her on Saturday. ❤️
Come for a brilliant, funny, touching play. Come because you love Shirley Valentine. Or come because you've seen Claire on our stage before and want to support her as she takes on something pretty incredible.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came along to our Athenaeum Masqueraders Summer Quiz & Karaoke Party last night! 🎤🎶

What a fantastic night, lots of laughs, questionable karaoke and some very competitive quizzing! 😂

We’re also so pleased to have raised **almost £200** for the group. ❤️

Costs are rising across the board for amateur theatre groups like ours, and putting on a show gets more expensive every year. Fundraising events like this make a real difference and help us continue doing what we love, bringing great shows to the stage.

Thank you to everyone who came, took part, donated and supported us. We really do appreciate it! 🥰
