Yay - our play is cast! Thanks to everyone who came to the auditions. We have a great cast and crew and rehearsals are about to begin. So watch this space folks - our Autumn Thriller will be another great show.

Tickets will be on sale nearer the time.

At Warkworth Drama Group we like to support a charity that ties in with our play. With our spring production, Habeas Corpus, touching on the subject of depression we chose an amazing cause for our raffle proceeds - Ashington Samaritans.

Ashington is one of two Samaritans' branches in Northumberland, the other is in Berwick-upon-Tweed. Quote from their website…

Samaritans is here for anyone struggling to cope – day or night, 365 days a year. We take action to prevent people reaching crisis point, helping people find ways to cope and learn the skills to be there for others. We campaign to make su***de prevention a priority.

Thank-you to all of you who came to our play and joined in with the raffle for this worthwhile cause. The amount we raised was... £ 232.70

After our successful comedy/farce we now go for a completely different tone... Dates for your diaries folks! We are going to be staging a psychological thriller by Emlyn Williams - Night Must Fall. November 19th 20th 21st.

THANK YOU to all of you who supported your local Drama Group these past 3 nights. The play was a blast and you, the audience, were absolutely amazing! Here's to our next play in the autumn. Long Live local Drama! YAY! 😁 xx

We had a BRILLIANT first night, just short of a sell out - WOW!! Thanks to all of you who came along and supported us. Loads of laughter and loads of fun for the cast too. You were a brilliant audience. Only two more nights folks so don't miss the opportunity for a great evening out with loads of fun and laughter.
