What these paintings hold…

These paintings were made from the energy of the sea.

Not a gentle sea. A sea that swells and surges and cannot, will not, be controlled. A sea that holds the storm and stillness simultaneously, dark greens and deep blues, teal and moss and moonlight on water, the shimmer that comes after.

This is what moved through me as I painted. The feeling of someone who has stood in the waves and not gone under. The feeling of a light that remains steady precisely because it has been tested. The energy of truth, spoken clearly, even into silence. The energy of power that has always been there, finding at last what it is truly for.
I carried the feeling of love and family.

The fierce, protective, uncompromising kind of love that will fight for what is right, that will not look away, that will stand in the storm on behalf of the people it holds dear.

I carried the feeling of a woman arriving into herself. The storm and the calm held together. The wildness and the stillness as one thing, not opposites.

I carried the energy of a lighthouse. Not decorative, not passive, but essential, steady in the dark. Light turning slowly.

I carried the feeling of the shore, that liminal place where two worlds meet, where sea becomes land, where who you were gently touches who you are becoming.

I painted from the energy of love that costs something. The unconditional, truth-telling kind. A vessel through which that love moves into the world.

These paintings hold a vision for the future. One where the storm subsides. Where a calm descends. Where the sea is still and the light is steady and everything that was fought for is finally, quietly, held.

They breathe in teal, deep sea green, moss, shimmer, sunset hues, the soft iridescence of a life that has earned its beauty.

The music was the sea itself. The feeling was coming home.

What these paintings hold…
These paintings hold the energy of a life in which nothing has ever been allowed to stand in the way.
A fire that burns for experience, for truth, for what is real. Someone who does not know how to be lukewarm, who has said yes to life over and over, especially when the outcome was unknown, especially when it was hard. A deep, persistent, unshakeable yes.

The perseverance and commitment - the kind that comes not just from willpower but from genuine devotion, to self, to family, to the work, and to becoming more fully oneself over time.

This is the energy of having done the real work, the slow, faithful, inside-out kind, and who now offers it from lived experience. The woman holding both worlds simultaneously, the fully human real life and the deeply spiritual, without bypassing either. This is a really deep grounded reality.

A bridge between worlds.

The energy of a family built consciously, from healed ground. Children given love, independence, and the wings to fly. The healing that passes through bloodlines, reaching further than the eye can see.

These paintings hold the fire that becomes light for others. The longing that becomes love. The bravery that is not the absence of fear, but the choice to move forward anyway, with tenderness, with everything.
They breathe in deep purples, teals, fuchsias, navy, gold.

These paintings hold the energy of a life built around love and always following what is true. Not love that tries to fix or change or redirect. But simply, consistently, and with extraordinary grace, made things better by the quality of its presence.

The word that lives here is tenderness. Tenderness for family, for children, for partners, and for the generations still to come. A steady gentleness. The kind that makes things better simply by being present.

There is empathy and deep intuition. The words spirit, mother and beauty. The feeling of someone whose whole life has been a kind of devotion to love, and to setting things free.

Running beneath all of it is deep, deep trust. Trust in life. Trust in the universe. Trust in source. A trust that does not waver.

This work has fire in it too, ignited by a spark.

Those words are the heartbeat of everything.
