While it’s been a bit cold for painting in the studio - and I’ve been reluctant to go and tidy it up! I thought I would have a look at some photos in the warm 🔥I’ve always loved b&w which is in direct contrast to my love of colour I use in my paintings. I might have a go at some monochrome painting at some point….

One of my favourite alcohol ink paintings. I thought it was time it saw a wall. It always amazes me that I remember what I was thinking about when I’m painting. I was looking for healing and gentleness when I was working on this one. I found it.

The drive to Bristol on Thursday was a bit of a journey in the rain! My trusty companion Sue Smith ‘survived the drive’ to attend the opening night at the .Artspace Gallery in Fishponds. It rained like it was monsoon season for the start of the Exhibition! It was great to meet Izrahyel Francis an Artist from Wolverhampton there.
It was also lovely to see my friend Niquita Tee there who braved the weather to support me. The Exhibition is open until 27th September for anyone who wants to visit.
