What a lovely day demonstrating at The Walsall Society of Artists Annual Exhibition, The New Art Gallery Walsall. I met some wonderful visitors and got to know two talented fellow artists working alongside me: . Just one week left to see this exhibition!

So inspiring to attend the Art Meets Poetry event at The New Art Gallery Walsall today and to hear the wonderful poem that Hugh Ashton has written about my artwork. His poem really encapsulates the excitement and magic of that first glimpse of the sea we experience as a child that never leaves us! My heart still misses a beat when I glimpse the sea from a distance, which is what my painting is all about. Do you recognise that feeling?

At last, I've made it to see my work exhibited in the RBSA Friends Exhibition. It's a real privilege to be part of an exhibition with such a high standard and diverse range of work.

Through the ups and downs of the last year, my art has continued to give me so much joy. It's been wonderful to emerse myself in my painting whilst engaging with new and old creative friends who encourage and inspire me. I'm looking forward to another year of creativity in 2025 and sharing more of my painting journey with you.

What a fabulous evening at The New Art Gallery Walsall for the private view of the Walsall Society of Artists 75th Annual Exhibition. It's an honour to have my work on display in this beautiful gallery. The exhibition runs until 2nd February with a programme of demonstrations and poetry readings throughout the exhibition period. Exciting news! My painting 'Feel the Light' has been selected for the RBSA Friends Exhibition in January! The private view is on 9th January and the exhibition runs until 8th February at the gallery in St Paul's Square, Birmingham.
