Proud to be part of this fantastic initiative to promote live music and Walsall.

Some of you might have been wondering what this is all about!

Walsall Music May-hem is a collaboration between musicians, open mic hosts, rehearsal studio owners, music teachers and venues across Walsall town centre who are coming together to celebrate and promote live music in Walsall throughout May.

Our purpose is to promote and build Walsall’s live music scene in what is clearly a difficult time for grassroots music across the country. Working together collectively and inclusively, we hope to make this the start of a new era for live music in the town.

Keep a look out over the next couple of weeks for more news, event listings, and a couple of warm up events taking place in Walsall town centre. If you can’t wait until May, check out the following pages (in alphabetical order) for the regular goings on of those who are making this month happen so far:

Check this out from TrillBoy produced by Chameleon Studios WS1. Pleasure to be involved with this project by providing the filming location / some lighting and smoke FX for the video shoot. Always great to see different genres of music through our doors.

We are looking for a local band or possibly 2 to join us at CH rehearsals.

Our aim is to build a community of bands we can support and re invest into the studio equipment. The studio is a place you can call home for your band. Part way between your own lock up and a rehearsal studio.

Unfortunately we can not offer storage for equipment.

What we can offer :

1 free trial session.

Competitive rates per month.

Block booking which gives a set day(s) rehersal time per month with back line provided on a pay monthly basis.

Drum kit Spaun Drum Company maple kit
Guitar cabs laney and Marshall
Bass cabs peavy and ampeg head
PA system
Monitors

(Our aim is to re invest into equipment where possible )

We also Allow use of own amp heads subject to compatibility with cabs.

Secure court yard for loading and unloading

Additional Live recording sessions available for dry hire.

We have Drum mics. Boundary mics . Cab mics and Vocal mics. Lighting and smoke effects to recreate gigs or film videos.

32 channel berringer desk available to use for recording sessions. (Compatible with apple laptops)

Assistance with promotion and access to our contacts for possible collaborations.

Free hot drinks and a kettle provided in the studio.

Access from 5:30pm - 11pm on your booked day - with no rushing to pack down. We operate 1 band per day. You choose when you start your session so no rushing to get there for a set time.
