Scubs Music Festival

Hi folks 👋

There will be a few changes to the festival arrangements for 2027.

The date will remain the same, as unfortunately the staging and technical teams are not available the following week.

1️⃣ No balls, bikes or scooters

Due to a number of issues this year, balls, bikes and scooters will not be permitted at next year’s festival.

We appreciate this may not suit everyone, but this is primarily a music festival aimed at adults, rather than a children’s party.

We also need to make it clear that any damage caused to property that does not belong to you will be the responsibility of the person causing the damage. Where necessary, incidents will be reported to the police.

2️⃣ Toilets

The toilets will return to portaloo-style facilities located by the club.

Unfortunately, the lack of respect shown towards the toilets this year has meant that we have had to make this change.

3️⃣ VIP Area

The stage fencing will be moved approximately 10 metres further inside, creating a dedicated adult VIP area.

This area will be VIP ticket holders only and, due to the nature of the area, no under-14s will be permitted inside.

There will also be executive toilets within the VIP area, which will be exclusively for VIP ticket holders.

A steward will be positioned within the VIP area to ensure that only people wearing the correct VIP wristband are able to access the area and facilities.

We’re sorry that some of these changes have had to be made, but we genuinely believe they will make the festival a better experience for everyone, particularly those who want to enjoy the weekend without hassle.

The VIP fencing will not affect the view from outside the fencing — it simply creates a more controlled and relaxed area for those who have chosen the VIP option.

Hi folks looking at changing date of scubs to the week after next year as I have a lot of issues with it being father's day weekend. Let me know thoughts please.

Hi folks,

I hope everyone is doing well.

I’m still receiving private messages regarding the children’s behaviour over the Scubs weekend. Although Isla and the security team did everything they could to manage the situation, I’ve made the decision that from next year there will be no ball games or bikes permitted anywhere on site during the festival weekend. Sorry, but this is now a rule.

I’m also sorry to say that any child found causing disruption, playing around people’s vans, in the toilet areas, or anywhere else on site in a way that’s unacceptable, will result in both the child and their parents being asked to leave. This decision will be made by the security team and will have my full support.

This festival started as a dream and has grown into an amazing weekend that so many people look forward to every year. I won’t allow our loyal customers to feel uncomfortable or have to worry about damage to their vehicles or property.

The festival was originally created as a music event aimed mainly at adults, and I want to make sure it remains an enjoyable, safe and welcoming weekend for everyone. I appreciate that the vast majority of children are well behaved, but unfortunately a small minority have meant these rules are now necessary.

Sorry everyone. Following a number of complaints regarding children riding bikes and scooters around the site, these will no longer be permitted on site next year due to health and safety reasons.

Ok so today ive had some massive news. A venue has been in touch for me to do a scubs 2 festival next year. This venue holds 2000 folks approx so im thinking scubs 2 could go ahead.

Not long now. If this year has anything to go by i think early bird tickets will sell out within days.

Hi folks just a quick hello to ask what sort of bands or artists would you like to see in 2027? Now i start all over again with a couple of great acts already confirmed.
