From the moment SaxoFest opened there was a real buzz in the air. The weather behaved itself, saxophones of every shape and size appeared around every corner, and players of all ages gathered to celebrate a shared love of music.

When we were organising SaxoFest we were so honoured to have the support of Odisei Music as an official sponsor! 😎

Travelling all the way from Spain, they dazzled visitors with the world’s lightest and smallest electronic sax, the Travel Sax 2. They also laid claim to the Outdoor stage which featured a wide range of saxophone artists throughout the day! 🎷

Hannah Horton wrote this song, Peace Speak, reflecting on the way music can say something gentle but still feel strong, and Jazz Journal wrote that her baritone solo on this track "curls around the chord changes like smoke from a cigar" which really is spot on 🎷
