Wow I can hardly believe it is 10 years since I trained to be a Celebrant, I remember someone telling me I was either brave or stupid to start a new career aged 57, as I said back then I just thought I was brave!

The last ten years have probably been the happiest of my working life. That is not to say I didn’t enjoy my previous role in a secondary school because I did but being a Celebrant has been the most fulfilling for me.

I can’t quite believe it’s been 10 years since I took the leap and started my journey as a celebrant!

Looking back, it’s been such a privilege to be a part of so many special moments. From over 300 weddings and naming ceremonies to the 3,000+ funerals I’ve been entrusted to lead. Every hug, handshake, and ‘thank you’ has meant the world to me.

Thank you to everyone who has allowed me to be a part of your life’s biggest milestones.

I’m so proud of this journey and I’m already looking forward to the next ten years!
