Wah Wah Records opened 01.04.2014 on Brook street which is just round the corner from the 24 hour gym on Trinity Walk in Wakefield. We stock mainly vinyl but also cd's,tote bags, t shirts and tapes. We participate in Record Store Day and have regular in store live music.

As mentioned a few weeks back we were going to start stocking more new CD’s (that’s new release and back catalogue stuff) to go alongside our used CD’s…..this has initially gone pretty well, I’ve been buying the sort of stuff we don’t see in the used section so they are being totally complimentary of each other. I’ll continue to grow this and it will of course be not detrimental to our massive stock of vinyl. When it comes to physical music we want to give people options.

So once again thank you for supporting that side of things also, it is appreciated.

I’d just like to take this opportunity to thank you for all for your custom/support in Wah Wah, this year and over the past 12 years.
Thank you for keeping physical, tangible vinyl, CD’s, tapes in your life and thank you for buying them from us.

Proper love QOTSA, new album going to be absolutely mint! But, just as a side note…..There’s 3 copies of this in Wah Wah...

But, just as a side note…..There’s 3 copies of this in Wah Wah, 20 odd quid each, you won’t find one anywhere for less than 3 figures at the moment (and they say it won’t ever be repressed) , so grab it while you can.

PS they’ve been in the shop for almost a year.

Can’t take no reserves I’m afraid, as literally had 24 messages to hold these in the past 4 minutes.
