From Revd Mark Umpleby : “It was so sad to announce in the service this morning that our wonderful recently retired Reader - licensed lay minister - Joyce Blakey died on Thursday this week! Joyce was a wonderful person and friend to so many… as well as a gifted reader, preacher, teacher and guide (as well as a great fellow LUFC fan). I will
miss Joyce so much! We are so thankful for Joyce’s ministry shared amongst us for many years, and her friendship with so many here at Holy Trinity Church and beyond - details of the funeral service will follow. Our prayers are with Lyndsey, Neil and all Joyce’s family - as well as our church family and community who all love Joyce and will miss her so much! May Joyce RIP and Rise in Glory! “ 🙏🥲❤️
