2025 highlights!

I have put on 4 shows this year, in 3 separate venues… quality over quantity 😜

1 of those gigs was in collaboration with the incredible Colin Manford! (Genuinely can’t sing his praises enough!), at the fantastic Village Hall in Wrenthorpe!

Good morning 😁

As the year draws to a close, I am looking forward to what 2026 brings! After a short break, i will be resuming my night at The New Wheel (dates to be confirmed)

I am also on the lookout for new venues to bring comedy to! If you are a landlord/lady looking to add laughter to your entertainment line up then get in touch!

As many of you may know, i have access to a 120 seat venue (Wrenthorpe Village Hall), if you’re a comedian looking for a decent sized room for your show, then contact me for more info 😊

Happy Monday Truckers!

I’ve been quiet recently, I took a short break while I was getting used my new job (still trucking, just a new company) but now I am back and looking for new venues to join the Chuckling Trucker family!

If you’re a venue looking for a comedy night, or if you would like to book us to provide comedy at a private party/event then contact us through messenger! 😊

We also have access to a 120 seat venue, so if any comedians would like to rent a decent sized room, send us a message 😜

Finally… we are happy to announce that we are in association with Wakefield BEATS… the page was set up by a fellow small business owner who felt they were being forgotten by the existing promotions company in Wakefield! So we may occasionally share other businesses from time to time to help them grow!

We hope to be able to announce a new show soon, until then have a great week 😁

Lets talk about last night…

Colin Manford has been a friend of Chuckling Trucker Comedy from its first day, he has give me some great advice, he headlined our first show last October!

So when he announced his new show “Off The Record” we wanted to repay his support for us by setting up shop in Wrenthorpe Village Hall!

Wrenthorpe is a small village on the outskirts of Wakefield, where i have lived the majority of my life, so to bring an event of this size to life here is an achievement i’m very proud of!

Last night we had an incredible turn out to watch the magic unfold!

Dawn Bailey opened the night with stories of her life, her storytelling with punchy jokes often caught everyone off guard, promoters need to book her! I will certainly be booking her again!

Now onto Colin’s show… there genuinly wasnt a point where i wasnt laughing and the whole room shared the same experience! “Off The Record” is the result of a lot of hard work, research, it doesnt take itself seriously! If you’re a fan of comedy then you NEED to see it!
