‼️ Important UPDATE ‼️

As a small business starting out, there is much to learn about what will work and what won’t.

After very successful classes at Haus Coffee & Plants, Wakefield, Mighty Oaks CIC felt empowered to partner with Angelic Holistic & Beauty Therapy Salon to host classes there but, unfortunately, we have not had the same success.

Sadly, we have come to the conclusion that it is not possible to continue with the scheduled programme of events at Angelic due to this. This is sad, but it is all learning and growth that we will carry with us into the next stage of our journey 🙏🏻

Thank you to everyone who has trusted us so far, we are working on growing so much more for you to enjoy and we will be bringing you new events soon. With apologies and with hope for the future, MIGHTY OAKS 🌳❤️

🚨EXCITING ANNOUNCEMENT! 🚨

Our classes to be held at Angelic Holistic & Beauty Therapy Salon have been updated and re-instated.

We will be hosting a 2-part course across 2 weeks; participants can attend in the evening on Thursday,OR during the day on Friday. The important information is as follows:

1. Session cost: each session costs £6.94 (excluding eventbrite VAT).

2. Accessibility and Suitability: unfortunately, the space at Angelic is not wheelchair accessible and does include a steep flight of stairs, so, if mobility is a limitation for you, this venue wouldn’t be appropriate. Additionally, the event is not suitable for under 18s.

3. Course content: whilst I don’t want to reveal too much, the courses have been described as “safe and inclusive,” and involve creative activities like mood boarding as well as therapeutic exercises including mindful breathing and positive affirmations.

UPDATE:

‼️THURSDAY 30/4: CANCELLED‼️

Unfortunately, following the cancellation of our session at Angelic Holistic & Beauty Therapy Salon on Thursday 30/4, we have had to make the incredibly hard decision to cancel the following sessions scheduled to take place at Angelic, also:

‼️ FRIDAY 1/5: CANCELLED‼️
‼️ THURSDAY 7/5: CANCELLED‼️
‼️ FRIDAY 8/5: CANCELLED‼️

This is not a decision that was taken lightly but, sadly, the number of people scheduled to attend the sessions was just too low to be able to run the classes as designed and we had to make a decision about how to proceed in enough time to act with integrity towards our clients and partners.

As before, ticket holders have been given an automatic refund on their purchase and contacted with an offer to attend a future event for free.

I would like to take this opportunity to say again that we are newly establishing this leg of our venture but we believe in it very much, the women who are accessing us believe in us very much, and, whilst this turn of events is unfortunate, it is not permanent, and we continue to operate with passion and purpose for the women of Wakefield and beyond 🙏🏻🌍❤️

We are running empoWOMENt classes at Angelic Holistic & Beauty Therapy Salon, Wakefield, twice a week starting from Thursday 30th April.

Sessions will run as follows:
Thursday classes on 30/4, 7,14,21/5 - at Angelic Holistic & Beauty Therapy Salon, Wakefield - 18:00-19:30.

Friday classes on 1,8,15,22/5 - at Angelic Holistic & Beauty Therapy Salon, Wakefield - 13:15-14:45.
