Noisehunter - "Stormbringer"
Country of origin: Germany
Location:Dormagen-Hackenbroich, North Rhine-Westphalia
Status:Changed name
Genre:Heavy Metal
Last label:ZYX Metallic
The band was originally called Noise, named after their district town Neuss which is pronounced like the English word, "Noise", but had to change this name due to legal challenges by a formation from Berlin already in possession of this title. Shortly thereafter, Noisehunter recorded a demo at the well known Dierks Studios and finally signed a record deal with GAMA-Records.
In 1992 Erwin Perle and Mathias Nicklas left the band, which changed its name into Union Rox and focused on a more melodic and radio-oriented sound; also Vasiliadis left vocal duties and the band was joined by a singer. Union Rox recorded some demos and disbanded after failing to keep a stable line-up in 1997.
