Arabella’s mastectomy tattoo, created a few years ago… and still so worthy of being seen. 🌸

Some tattoos are more than something beautiful on the skin.

For Arabella, flowers became part of her story — covering scars, bringing softness back to her body and creating something beautiful in a place that had been through so much.

I’m sharing this again because maybe there is a woman watching who has been through a mastectomy and doesn’t realise what is possible.

Your scars don’t have to disappear.
They can become part of something beautiful. ❤️

And even after all these years, I still love looking at this one.

🚨 I know some of you have mentioned that my reels move a little too quickly and you don’t always get the chance to properly see the details of my work 😅

And I completely understand! So from now on, I’ll try to share a mix of both videos and photos, so you can actually stop, zoom in and see all those tiny details.

I really appreciate and respect the people who follow my work, and I know that sometimes a fast reel doesn’t do justice to the amount of time, patience and heart I put into every single tattoo.

🌸🌸🌸Some tattoos are so much more than just beautiful flowers ❤️

Every flower in this piece has its own story and a very personal meaning — memories of family, childhood, love, a wedding… and flowers connected to her cancer treatment and the chemotherapy she went through.

A peony for her step-mum, Madagascar periwinkle and mayapple representing the chemotherapy drugs used during her cancer treatment, her favourite tulip, a daffodil bringing back memories of her wedding, nasturtium for childhood memories with her mum… and of course a little bee 🐝🌸

I absolutely love creating tattoos like this. Not just a pretty bouquet, but a collection of memories and little pieces of someone’s life, all growing together on the skin.

I’ve tattooed hundreds of flowers over the years… 🌸
but I still think the most beautiful ones are those that mean something to the person wearing them.

A flower from your wedding bouquet.
Your mum’s favourite flower.
The one that grew in your grandma’s garden.
Your child’s birth flower.
Or simply a flower you’ve always loved, for no particular reason. 🤍

So I’m curious…

First tattoo at 50 ❤️🌸

Charlotte came to me for her very first tattoo at 50 🥰 She loves my floral work and wanted something colourful and feminine — poppies, cornflowers, a pink peony and a little bee 🐝

We created this beautiful piece flowing from her shoulder down the arm, with space to add more in the future 🌿

I love when women come to me for their first tattoo later in life. There really is no age limit!

And the funny thing is… after all these years tattooing other people, I still don’t have a single tattoo myself 🤣🙈

The thigh piece for Livvy, one of my regular clients xx ❤️
This design was created to work with the lump she was left with after a serious horse-riding accident, turning it into part of her story of strength and recovery.
She’s still riding, of course 🐎, and now she can proudly show off her leg with confidence, feeling empowered and comfortable in her own skin again — especially in shorts! ❤️
I can’t wait this healed tattoo because the skin was very red and I can’t see details good enough xx
