Corey Moore - Music Production Recording and Mix Engineer based in Wakefield, West Yorkshire.

Corey Moore is a Music Producer and Recording/Mixing Engineer operating out of Laurel House Studios - Wakefield. The studio offers a comfortable and unique workspace based around an ex BBC Calrec S2 desk with quality outboard which provides a warm, natural but exclusive sound for your recordings. Growing up around music, Corey quickly took to learning the drums, before venturing into playing with

bands in his early teens. During this time, he found his passion for recording, which resulted in his and his bands first studio recording effort at age 16. Since then, he has gone on to graduate with a BSc Popular Music Production degree from the University of Huddersfield. During his placement year, Corey interned at The Chairworks Studios - Castleford, where he worked as a runner and studio assistant, earning credits as Assistant Engineer to Skindred's 'Kill The Power' alongside James Loughrey, Paul Heaton and Jacqui Abbott's 'What Have We Become' and Marmozets' 'The Weird And Wonderful', for which he provided Assistant Tracking Engineer duties for drums. During this time, Corey primarily worked alongside Producer/Engineer James Mottershead, providing editing and Assistant Engineer duties for bands such as Let's Away and Fizzy Blood and labels including Double Cross Records, Roadrunner Records, Virgin EMI and Sky On Fire.

So! PHG, the new single is out! Working on this was a huge honour, bringing a bunch of people from around the world together into one project.

Massive props to Ash Thompson (guitar) who co-wrote the song and brought the Riffs.
Also to .pines.mall on bass - That guy knows how to give a bass a good old hiding.
undoubtedly iced this thing off PERFECTLY with his trumpets - may have to formally dub him "lungs" cause those horns be Rippin’. He also happens to be a very talented illustrator (see the image of us as our favourite animals!🤘🏻)
All the awesome people who submitted their vocals for the gang sections can’t go without mentioning - once I got everything in the session I couldn’t help but smile. You all nailed it and turned this thing up to 11.
And of course, Sun. Who persevered with 20-30 minute videos of me talking about drum recording and vocal ideas - she put in the work and NAILED this sucker. Thanks for making it such a joy to work on.

We’re 13 days into the new year and already it feels like a belter. I’m feeling VERY fortunate to be working on the things I am at the moment, with a multitude of amazing people. From working with my own bands, to projects with others, I’ve never felt so connected to music and it’s all thanks to the awesome people around me. I Cannot wait to see what the rest of the year has in store and I can’t wait for people to hear what I’ve been working on. Big up!
