Hello! Hope your week has started well. I've been really enjoying making my paper collage tiger this weekend and I feel like it's finally coming together. I've been enjoying working at this larger size (A3) too. Thankfully I should still be on track to have it finished in time for the competition deadline 😊

Hello!! I hope you're doing well. I honestly don't know where this week has gone! I've been plodding away at my tiger paper collage a bit more and now she has a beautifully furry chin! I've worked upwards with this piece for some reason, but I never really follow the same process each time so it's always a mystery of how I'm going to do it, I just trust my brain. Anyway, I'm really enjoying making it so I'll keep you posted on the progress 😊

Hello! I hope you're well. I had a busy weekend with my garden project. We extended our patio, and wow I think we underestimated how much work it would be! Anyway, we survived and have nearly recovered! 😂 I've been plodding away a bit at a time with this lovely tiger and cub paper collage. I've still got a lot of work left on it but I'm really enjoying it 😊 I'm hoping it'll be my entry into the Sketch for Survival competition this year so I'd better get cracking!

Hello! I hope you're doing well and haven't melted in this heat! 🥵 I've got a garden project planned for this week but wow the heat has made it difficult for moving all of the delivery that arrived today. Anyway, I've been working on this lovely little deer paper collage and I've really enjoyed challenging myself with the background. I'm happy with how it's turned out and I think it'll be one of the pieces I exhibit in the Holmfirth Artweek exhibition this year. 😊

Hello! Hope your week is going well. I've got the next few days off the day job which I'm super excited about and I'm going to enjoy getting stuck into this new paper collage of a mother tiger and her cub. I've done the prep work as you can see, getting the outline done and selecting the paper from my huge collection. I think it's going to be a fun one! ☺️

Hello! I hope you're doing well! I've got a few pieces in the Association of Animal Artists Spring exhibition in Shifnal at the moment. It's an incredible exhibition and the standard of animal artwork is amazing as always. I've got these two smaller pieces in it, 'George the Hedgehog' and 'Rolo the Red Squirrel' as well as my larger 'Zaya the Snow Leopard'. Andy at The Frame Maker Horbury has done an incredible job of their frames and the art glass is just incredible - you can't even tell it's there!

Hello!! I hope you are doing well. It's been a while and I'm sorry about that. Life has felt more tricky than normal for a while and I realised that I needed to take some time to myself. I have been continuing to make artwork which I'm looking forward to sharing with you all. I've been working on this piece this weekend and having some fun with the background which obviously isn't finished yet. My next step is finishing the tree and making a meadow in the foreground for the deer to be stood in. What do you think? ☺️

Hello! I hope your week is going well. I'm finally feeling a lot better and ready to get back to making art again. I wanted to show you a paper collage that I finished last week. I absolutely loved making this little owl and got a bit carried away with details again but I feel like he's turned out alright. Any name suggestions? 😊

Hello! I hope you're doing ok. I've had a rough week again and have been really unwell with a tummy bug which has totally wiped me out all week but finally I seem to be on the right side of it now. It's today so I thought I'd share just a few of the wonderful pets I enjoyed making last year. They bring such joy to each day, don't they? 😊

Hello! Today my wonderful father in law George passed away after an incredibly cruel battle with cancer. He was such a kind, gentle, generous man who welcomed me into his family and I am so thankful to have had him in my life. He was such a huge supporter of my artwork and often commented on my posts to show how much he cared. He will be so deeply missed. ❤️ Here's a picture from much happier times - it's one of my favourite photos from our wedding day.
