Wadhurst Community Cinema Wadhurst Community Cinema is a wonderful social event for anyone that loves to combine a great movie with meeting up with friends and neighbours.

Wadhurst Community Cinema is about to embark on its 5th successful season. In that time, its members and guests have enjoyed a remarkable selection of top movies. It's an opportunity for locals, friends, neighbours and visitors to enjoy a jolly good film with a glass of wine, tea or coffee and a selection of snacks. As well as being a top social event, the cinema club has raised in excess of £15,0

00 towards the upkeep of the Commemoration Hall itself. Eight films are shown each season, from September through to April. At just £24 for membership, that works out at just £3 per film! Non-members can buy a ticket at the door for £5. We look forward to seeing you there! Must be 16 or over.

LOOK OUT FOR OUR WADHURST COMMUNITY CINEMA SCARECROW ON SUNDAY!
🌻 Wadhurst 2026 Scarecrow Festival 🌻

Good morning Wadhurst!

The Wadhurst Warriors Scarecrow Festival is back on Sunday 24th May, 1pm – 4pm, starting at the Greyhound Inn, who are providing some wonderful community support, and a special menu for the day.

Individuals and groups across our community have been furiously stuff old clothes with hay and excitement levels are rising!

The weather on Sunday looks glorious, so come and wander the trail to see the amazing creative scarecrows our wonderful community has come up with this year.

There will be a Q&A sheet for trail participants to complete, with prizes distributed at the end!

As a special treat the Commemoration Hall will also be open along the route with some very special arts and crafts to enjoy.
