It’s time to announce our headliner for Thursdays gig, and it’s only the one and only he’s a local legend and a star of the southwest comedy scene!

Cornwall Comedian of the year 2023!
Winning Cornish Comedian of the Year, shortlisted for the BBC New Comedy Awards, and selected by the Leicester Comedy Festival as a ‘circuit breaker’, Ben is definitely one to watch. With fantastic self-deprecating punchlines and quick crowdwork, it’s easy to see why he’s getting booked across the UK and providing tour support for TV names.

It is with great pleasure that we will be opening proceedings at Sticker Vintage Rally and Country Fayre on 1st August, and our headliner will be the amazing Suzy Bennett! But don’t take my word for it, just read these reviews:

Former Butlins Redcoat and proud Devonian, Suzy Bennett ‘accidentally’ won the prestigious Funny Women Award on her 6th gig. She has performed around the UK and international comedy scene.
Suzy hosted ‘Dine with Davina’ with Davina McCall, The Moonwalk London as well as being chosen as tour support for big name acts including Russell Kane and Jimmy Carr. Suzy masquerades as alter-ego ‘Red Ruth’ regularly as the Landlady of the Keg & Pasty stage at Boardmasters Festival and hosts events such as Porthleven Food Festival, as well as writing and starring in the hit panto ‘Ciderella’ which enjoyed a sell out run and toured the South West.
She is currently hosting the ‘Beryl Cook Comedy Tour’ as part of The Box Plymouth’s ‘Pride and Joy’ exhibition.

Last night we had our first event at The Churchill Bars in Wadebridge, and what a great night it was! The audience loved it almost as much as the comics performing, and we are pleased to announce that we will be back next month for another FREE night of stand up comedy!

Time to announce the other acts performing at the Churchill Bars in Wadebridge this Thursday.

First up we have Eloise Dale who’s been smashing gigs across the southwest and is definitely one to watch.

‘Eloise is a feisty yet playful comedian who will quite often catch you off guard. Her unashamedly bold style will have you wondering what will come out of her mouth next’

Next up we have the legend that is Dave Pollard. Dave’s a well known face of the southwest scene, and is a brilliantly funny man.

And of course we have our host for the night, our regular MC Jon Watering who’ll be holding the show together and getting the good times rolling.

Our next event is at the Churchill Bars in Wadebridge on 16th April, 8pm start, and it’s FREE! So come along to see some of the southwest’s finest comedic talents! Now it’s time to announce our opener who will lift the room and bring out the laughter!

Our opener is, the incredible Joe Capper! He’s a rising star of the comedy circuit and has been smashing gigs all over country, but you don’t have to take my word for it, look at this review🤩
