The Royal Cornwall Agricultural Association are the organisers of the Royal Cornwall Show. The aims of the association are to promote high standards in agriculture, to support Cornwall's impressive agricultural industries and to stimulate development through demonstrations of good practice and new ideas. The main way in which we achieve this is through the Royal Cornwall Show, which is now well in

to its third century! Our permanent showground near Wadebridge is transformed into a bustling village for three days in June. While the show is the main focus of our work, we have an active showground year-round, as the events listing shows. The showground has modern facilities, including the stylish new Pavilion Centre and is a perfect location for a huge range of events.

Although Saturday didn't unfold as planned, our Young Handler competitions were able to go ahead safely within the cattle and sheep lines, showcasing the passion, dedication and skill of the next generation of farmers 🚜🐑🐄

A huge well done to all those who took part – you are a credit to our industry and a reminder of the bright future ahead.

Royal Cornwall Show – Saturday Closure

It is with great regret that following a thorough assessment of forecast weather conditions and their impact on the showground, the difficult decision has been taken to cancel the final day of the Royal Cornwall Show on Saturday.

The safety and wellbeing of our visitors, exhibitors, competitors, members, staff, volunteers and contractors has been central to this decision and remains our highest priority.

We recognise how disappointing this news will be for everyone involved, particularly those who had planned to attend, exhibit or compete, and we would like to thank all our stakeholders for their patience, understanding and support.

Further information for ticket holders, exhibitors, competitors, members and other stakeholders will be communicated as soon as possible through the Royal Cornwall Show’s official channels.

We’ve been made aware of a tree down on St Breock Road, which is currently impassable.

DAY 2 ☀️🔥🎪

Now that’s more like it!

The sun came out and so did the crowds for an incredible second day at the Royal Cornwall Show.

From the RAF Falcons dropping into the heart of the Main Ring and thrilling Scurry Racing, to championship livestock classes, the Grand Parade, fantastic demonstrations, shopping, local food and drink and hundreds of trade stands, there was something happening around every corner.

The showground was buzzing from start to finish and it was brilliant to see so many of you enjoying everything the show has to offer.

One more day to go... let’s do it all again tomorrow! 🌾🎉

A First for the Sheep Section 🐑🏆

As Headline Sponsors of the Sheep Rings, Cornish Mutual helped bring a brand new championship to the Royal Cornwall Show this year.

The Group of Three Championship saw around 100 sheep line up in the ring, creating an impressive showcase of the quality, dedication and breeding excellence on display throughout the Sheep Section.

A fantastic new addition to this year’s competition programme and a memorable moment for exhibitors and spectators alike.

We are aware of forecasts of high winds over Friday evening into Saturday, despite this, the Royal Cornwall Show remains open and is proceeding on Saturday,

Following ongoing consultation with weather monitoring services, safety advisers and relevant agencies, a number of precautionary measures have been implemented to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all visitors, exhibitors, competitors, staff and volunteers.

While some minor adjustments to activities, displays or site operations may be necessary throughout this period, the Show continues to offer a great programme and visitors can look forward to enjoying everything the event has to offer.

Although we do expect some exhibits to be affected by the conditions, visitors are encouraged to check the Royal Cornwall Show’s official communication channels before and during their visit for the latest updates, programme information and any changes that may be required.

The safety of everyone on site remains our highest priority and conditions will continue to be closely monitored throughout this period.

We thank all visitors, exhibitors and participants for their understanding and cooperation and look forward to welcoming everyone to a safe and enjoyable day at the Show.

DAY 1 COMPLETE 🎪🌾✨

Today we welcomed thousands of visitors through the gates for the first day of the Royal Cornwall Show 2026.

From incredible Main Ring entertainment including the Knights of Middle England, to livestock competitions, championship judging, shopping, food, drink and so much more, it was fantastic to see the showground buzzing once again.

Despite the weather, the atmosphere was incredible and it was wonderful to see so many of you enjoying everything the show has to offer.

Thank you to everyone who joined us today.

We can’t wait to welcome you back tomorrow for Day 2! 🎉
