REMINDERS ABOUT APPLYING TO PLAY UBF 2027 MAIN STAGES:

If you are planning on applying for Upton 2027 and feel you or your band meet the criteria for the main stages, here’s some quick tips to help us help you!

Please apply Via the link and email on the website (going LIVE 01/09/26)

Please send in your band bio, links to original material, live performance video, pages and/or social media and any other details of note.

If you send or post anything on any other channels we won’t have the capacity to look at it or listen to it

If you want to apply to a particular stage (especially Acoustic Roots), please specify that in your subject heading

If there’s a specific reason why you feel you want to or should play Upton Blues by all means let us know

So, if you have original material in your live set, haven’t played the main stages for at least 2 years and think you’re a great fit for Upton Blues Festival 2027, we look forward to hearing from you in September! Cheers!

BAND BOOKING FOR UBF 2027 🎶

Aloha all,

In advance of Band and Artist applications opening this Tuesday for Upton 2027, just a reminder that the UBF committee is only responsible for the band selection on the two Main Outside Stages (Riverside and Meadow) and the Acoustic Roots Stage (in the Church).

We do not book the pubs and we do not book cover bands (other than the particular “special” slots like the choir or the Riverside soul and party slots).

We also don’t handle any band booking business through Facebook or instagram, etc., only via the link (when live) on the website for the Bands email. The link will go live on the website home page on 1st September and we will post the link on socials when it does.

Band/Artist Criteria For the Upton Blues Festival 2027 🎶

In advance of next month, just a reminder that the following basic criteria apply for any band booked to play one of our three Main stages (Acoustic Roots, Meadow, Riverside):

Bands should have original Music in their set (other than our “special” Riverside slots for Saturday soul, Sunday night party, etc.)
Act must play a 90 minute set (up to 60 for Acoustic Roots)
UBF keeps a gap of at least two years between main stage bookings , so if you played 2025 or 2026 you aren’t eligible for 2027.
If booked for a main stage, please do not book to play any other (pubs, campsite) stages for that festival.

You can apply to play the main stages from 1st September via the website. Good luck! 🎶
