Every dancer chases the same moment: the perfect turn. Ballroom holds it in the frame. Hip-hop snaps it on the beat. Contemporary melts through it. Jazz punches it out sharp. Different styles, same question — how do you stay controlled when everything's spinning?

The answer isn't more speed. It's more stillness.

This is a call for dancers who want to break the turn down from a professional ballet perspective — spotting, core control, placement, and the strategies that carry across every genre. The style changes. The fundamentals of a clean turn don't.

Have you ever watched the mime in Sleeping Beauty, Coppélia, or La Sylphide and felt something land—a gesture, a glance, a hand pressed to the heart—without knowing the exact story it was telling?

As Marcel Marceau once said, "Do not the most moving moments of our lives find us all without words?"

This Sunday, September 20th, we’re stepping away from purely technical focus to explore the expressive mime language of classical ballet. We’ll unpack famous mime sequences and fuse gesture with technique so your movement stops being just correct, and starts truly speaking to an audience. 🤍

Whether you’ve been with us since January or joined us recently, if you’re looking to add a deep artistic layer to your dancing, this 3-hour workshop is for you.
