Stable Art framers now moved to Woods Browning Estate.

We thought that people would like to know that the excellent framing business that was at StableArt in Fletchers Bridge is now an independent framing service based at Unit 14, Woods Browning Industrial Estate . PL31 1DQ in Bodmin.

We alwasy recommend the framing service at StableArt and if anything this makes it more convenient to visit so we will be recommending Stable Framing from now on.

Enjoy experimenting with Tetra Pack printing. Join artist-wanderer Karen Howse for an introduction to this fun, low-tech and eco-friendly printing method. Create printing plates by etching onto drinks cartons, and use them to make interesting relief or intaglio prints with the roller press. A chance to learn through making and get inky!

Perfect for beginners and seasoned makers alike, this session offers a chance to slow down, work with your hands, and enjoy the calming rhythm of weaving.

Jasmine, our exoerienced tutor, will show you how to weave the centre of the flower, which is a nice introduction to basket making as it's very similar to a round basket base! You'll then add your petals and by the end, you’ll take home your own unique floral creations—lasting keepsakes for the home on the wall or out in the garden!

We need artists amd makers to help us celebrate Bodmin's past !

If you love to paint, draw or make any kind of art we are inviting you to explore the spirit, stories and atmosphere of Bodmin’s historic Riding Festival — a tradition dating back to the 1400s, where the town’s history comes alive through costume, procession, folklore and celebration.

From ancient legends and forgotten tales to landscapes, heritage and imagination — we want to see your creative response to the echoes of Bodmin’s past.

We will have an exhibition of the artwork in the Gallery beginning on the first weekend of July for the Riding Festival.

Join artist-wanderer to experiment with printing. Using low-tech methods. Karen will help you to evoke special places or imagined landscapes in print. You will have a go at trace monotypes, mixing these with relief prints from plants and leaves and add small tetra pack details/animals/birds! This workshop is mostly without a press, so you can continue what you learn at home.

We recommend wearing old clothes and to bring an apron as it may get messy.

Following the incredible success of our Flamm Festival exhibition, Bodmin Gallery & Creative Studio is excited to launch a new community exhibition celebrating this year’s Bodmin Riding & Heritage Festival.

We’re inviting artists to explore the spirit, stories and atmosphere of Bodmin’s historic Riding Festival — a tradition dating back to the 1400s, where the town’s history comes alive through costume, procession, folklore and celebration.

From ancient legends and forgotten tales to landscapes, heritage and imagination — we want to see your creative response to the echoes of Bodmin’s past.

Learn printmaking and get inky!
Join artist-wanderer to experiment with printing. Using low-tech methods. Karen will help you to evoke special places or imagined landscapes in print. You will have a go at trace monotypes, mixing these with relief prints from plants and leaves and add small tetra pack details/animals/birds! This workshop is mostly without a press, so you can continue printmaking at home.

Attendees need to bring an apron and not wear best clothes as it may get messy. They are also welcome to bring in a picture of a place to use as a reference.
