We love old things and have cleared half of our garage to home our 1961 Volvo PV 544 sports saloon. The 1961 Swedish tax disc still sits in the windscreen. The smell of its interior is amazing.

These two beautiful pink apples were two of a set of four, each containing an image of Paul, John, George and Ringo. The Cavern asked us to replace the broken stems on two of them before they wrnt to Paul's home. A real honour to be trusted with such treasures.

There's not long to wait until our next repair session! Everyone is welcome to bring along an item in need of fixing, whether you have been before or you are planning to visit for the first time.

Tea and coffee are an important part of a Repair Cafe and we always have a tasty selection of homemade cakes and biscuits too. The refreshments are enjoyed by volunteers and visitors alike. Do pop in for a chat and treat yourself to a hot drink and a snack - even if you don't have anything in need of repair!

It's all free of charge, although donations to Repair Cafe funds are much appreciated.

The sun will be shining this Saturday 29th August at 6 Pye Road, Heswall, Home of Repair HQ, Art Attic and Emporium of Amazing Things. Cal's pop up cafe is open between ten and four, come browse the shop, support local creators and enjoy barista coffee and home made cake. Take away also available. Credit cards accepted, but cash is preferred so we don't have to pay bank charges. Love from Cal and Jane

This dear doll came along in quite a state so I found her some hair, sorted her limbs out and Jane made her some pretty clothes. Quite a transformation.
