Just a quick reminder that the Skye Half Marathon & 10K takes place this Saturday, 13th June 🏃

With races starting from Portree and road closures in place across parts of the island throughout the day, we’d recommend planning your journeys and routes ahead of time where possible.

You can find full race details, timings, route maps, and road closure information on the official Skye Half Marathon website and via Traffic Scotland.

The Highland Cow Shop has become a popular stop in the centre of town for speciality coffee, homemade cakes, locally sourced treats and, of course, plenty of Highland cow gifts and souvenirs.

Run by Skye locals Fiona and Robbie, it’s also a great place to pick up recommendations on what to see around the island while enjoying a warm, dog-friendly welcome.
