After the first test went not so great, this lot that I exposed today turned out alot better and really brought the confidence of pretending I know what I’m doing back

Onto more next week and experimenting with exposing multiple layers on top and playing around with the acetate images

I’m also going to try toning again now the images are fully appearing again

Can’t wait to see these fully dry and developed when I’m back in

Loved visiting today

It’s a lovey little gallery with a gift shop full of artist made stuff and a cafe too. They do workshops and I’m gutted I don’t live this way as it seems amazing.

Only one exhibit we saw as the other gallery is currently being hung to open after we leave but the one we saw was worth the trip to Dumfries from where we are staying.

I’m going to make it a thing to visit an art gallery or exhibit on every little uk holiday we go on.

It was a different place to the ones near myself and it was nice to see, even saw some David Hockney which was exciting to see in person.

Well I haven’t posted in a long time

The day after graduation I got the keys to our house

The third and forth photo shows the first 15 minutes after we got the keys and we started the strat of a long renovation still ongoing for the upper floor of the entire house

The forth shows when it snowed a few weeks and we had been in the house for a few days before Christmas to live in.

Only the upstairs to get sorted now while doing my postgraduate, trying to get some painting done in the studio and get back into art. More art to follow as I get back into the flow and inspired to create

Proud and thankful for the opportunity being giving to me to havemy degree show video “becoming seen, becoming heard” being exhibited at the Northern Gallery for Contemporary Art.

Missing the darkness and glowing of my exhibit already. Still got a layer or two of the white paint till the studio space is all back to normal

Can’t wait to see what art comes in the summer now

Everything I Am Becoming - Degree Show Exhibit

Thank you everyone who was able to make it to the opening night. Special thanks to .ace._.art.ii for helping install and supporting during the install and the show.

Degree show is open to the public till the 14th go to for information

Nearly at the end!

The ceiling appeared basically over night thank you Craig it’s amazing.

As the rest of the ceiling and door curtains were added some lights were fitted to the wall and the floors were painted to dry over night.

Got the rest of my supplies I forgot to get (extensions and plugs) to finish the rest tomorrow.

Can’t wait to see it all finished.

I’ll probably not post any photos full photos of the space till after degree show opening now so I’m not showing spoilers of my entire space.
