On Saturday 12th September we are delighted to welcome Andy Quin for a first visit to the Tywyn Wurlitzer.
Andy was born in London and began playing the organ at eight.
He began his organ playing career on Sidney Torch’s famous Christie at the Regal, Edmonton. He made his first radio broadcast at the age of eleven. His wide musical career encompassing composing, arranging and conducting as well as performing gives Andy a unique insight as a performer. His programmes include arrangements and improvisations on standards, Light Music, themes from the classics, musicals and film, The Great American Songbook and of course a few of his own well known compositions from some of the UK's best loved advertisements and long running TV series. Andy Quin will be bringing us a superb evening of music.

On Saturday 29th August we are celebrating 30 years since the opening concert in Tywyn.

Curious? Intrigued? Our Drop In Event is for those who have never been before and regulars. Exhibition, demonstrations, talks, organ chamber tours, opportunities to have a go, quiz and refreshments.

On Thursday 13th August we are delighted to welcome Michael Wooldridge back to the Tywyn Wurlitzer Theatre organ.
Michael is renowned for his unparalleled skill and versatility.
With his captivating style and dynamic performances, he promises to transport audiences to another era with the timeless sounds of the Wurlitzer theatre organ.
This will be a fun evening of popular music including big band favourites, the magic of the musicals and much more.

On Saturday 18th July we are delighted to welcome Paul Lee to the Tywyn Wurlitzier Theatre organ. Paul is a highly experienced musician with a particular lifelong passion for the theatre organ. He has appeared many times on BBC Radio 2's The Organist Entertains, showcasing his distinctive musical style and versatility. Paul enjoys performing a wide variety of musical genres that include as well as theatre organ, jazz, pop, classical, and big band favourites, bringing enthusiasm and authenticity to every performance with his engagement with his audience.

On Saturday 13th June Andrew Nix will take the console of the Tywyn Wurlitzer Theatre Organ. Come and enjoy an evening of live music fun when we welcome back the popular organist and entertainer Andrew Nix to the Wurlitzer Console. You will hear his wide range of playing styles applied to music from the Shows, big band, popular music across the decades and more. Andrew's varied musical repertoire along with his Yorkshire humour has made him one of the Britain's favourite performers.

This Saturday 23rd May Mark Laflin will take the console of the Tywyn Wurlitzer Theatre Organ to entertain us with an evening of live music.

Mark studied at the Royal College of Music and was organ scholar at Keble College Oxford University. He is Director of Music at Kingston-Grammar School.

There will be something to suit everyone's musical taste with a programme including popular and light music with music from films and musicals.

This Saturday 11th April at 7;30 Declan Poole will take the console of the Tywyn Wurlitzer Theatre Organ to entertain us with an evening of live music.

Declan is one of the UK’s youngest theatre organ performers. He took an interest in the theatre organ during a visit to the Tower Ballroom, Blackpool when he was around 13 years old.
He has won the ATOS U.K. Young Theatre Organist of the Year competition. He has played over 50 of the UK’s theatre organ installations. In 2024 he was a recipient of the Cinema Organ Society’s Ian Sutherland award. You can expect to hear a concert programme filled with a varied mix of popular music, including many theatre organ favourites.

On Sunday 15th March Cameron Lloyd will take the console of the Tywyn Wurlitzer Theatre Organ to entertain us with an afternoon of live music. Cameron became interested in playing the organ at the age of 11 when his parents bought him anelectronic organ. After a visit to the Tower Ballroom Blackpool at the age of 12, he really became hooked on the theatre organ. Cameron is heavily involved with The Cannock Chase Organ Club and is in demand on the concert circuit. Come and enjoy real live music from the real pipes of our theatre organ.
