This month we celebrated another fantastic seal release with our volunteers at Tynemouth Seal Hospital! 🦭 Beach goers had reported an underweight, dehydrated and wound-covered seal to Blyth Wildlife Rescue when they were on another release, so as one went out, another came back in for care! 🏥

Sandy Cheeks, weighing just 21.3kg on admission, has had a fantastic recovery and was released into the North Sea two weeks ago at 40.09kg, ready and raring for a life of success in the wild 🥳

A huge thanks to the incredible teams at Blyth Wildlife and our Seal Hospital for their dedication to caring for wild animals 🌊
