Yesterday we replaced three of the four lighting heads at the skatepark. The fourth will be replaced once the ground is dry enough for us to safely get the vehicle close to the area.

We hope the new lighting will be an improvement and make the space safer and more enjoyable for everyone using the skatepark. 💡🛹

Support Tom’s Geography Project! 🛹📚

Tom, a key member of our Skatepark User Group, is completing his Geography NEA project on the skatepark and its impact on the local area.

He’s conducting a short survey as part of his data collection, and it would be great if you could take a few minutes to fill it out and share your views.

It’s been an incredible year for our skatepark – from the Opening Jam 🎉 to new benches, bins, school sessions, and summer workshops 🙌

🛹 New Benches Installed at the Skatepark! 🛋️

We’re excited to share that the new benches have now been installed around the skatepark! These were made possible thanks to the amazing support from our Crowdfunder campaign — with a special thank you to Ruscombe Parish Council, who generously donated one of the benches (don’t miss the plaque!).

The benches offer the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the action — whether you're watching the latest tricks or just soaking up the vibe. Come down, take a seat, and check them out!

🎉 What an incredible day at the Skatepark Opening Jam! 🛹🚲

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us on Saturday 3rd May to celebrate the opening of our brand-new skatepark. The energy, talent, and community spirit were off the charts!

We saw some amazing tricks, enjoyed great tunes, and loved seeing so many people of all ages coming together to make the day special.

👏 Special thanks to Maverick’s fantastic event team who led the entertainment and helped make the event such a success!
