Really excited for this one! First ever night of original music at the Tutbury Club. 4 incredible local bands, all of these bands have a massive buzz about them, from Stalwarts of the Burton and Derby music scenes, to new bands making waves. If you love live music, but haven't seen what the Burton original music scene has to offer this is the night for you! 7pm, Friday 17th April. free entry, no tickets required, open to all, children and well behaved adults welcome!

Calling all local original bands. We are considering putting on a one night special event of original music at the Tutbury Club. This would be a bit of an experiment as it is traditionally a venue for covers and tribute acts. With so much great original music happening in and around Burton, and feeling inspired by events like Sonic Boom, we want to try and give another small platform to some of these great bands. We will have full sound and lighting provided, the same as the main festival. The intention will be for it to be a FREE ENTRY event where anybody and everybody can come and enjoy local grassroots music. We also want to try and pay the bands a small fee, often original bands have to play for free to be heard and we don't think this is right. If you are an original band playing a Genre that has reasonably wide appeal and would be interested in playing in this first of a kind event in tutbury, then feel free to get in touch via Whatsapp

Just a quick update to all the bands who have expressed an interest in playing at Rhythm and Booze 2026. We are still working on the plans for 2026 and it is likely to be a few more weeks until we lock in a line up. So please bare with us and we will get back to you all soon! Thanks so much for all the interest!

Merry Christams to all of ouf friends, followers, beer lovers, music lovers and of course all the amazing bands who played for us.
Rhythm and Booze 2026 is already in the planning phases and will be even bigger and better!
We hope you all have a lovely Christmas and a Happy New Year. Thankyou for supporting our festival!
The club is open from 11am to 2pm tomorrow, see you there if you feel so inclined. Its always a great fun 3hrs!

SAVE THE DATE! Great News! Tutbury Club Rhythm and Booze Festival will be back in 2026! It is planned for 13th, 14th and 15th November 2026. So we have 1 more day of The First Ever Tutbury Club "Rhythm and Booze" Festival! The Doors open at 12 noon again with a full selection of Real Ales and Rums still available. Today's entertainment is a bit more laid back for chilled Sunday vibes with the incredible GracejVocals opening up the stage with an acoustic guitarist. Then our great mates Closer To The Coast will be playing a stunning set of acoustic crowd pleases. And then later on is the debut performance of new local band Escape Velocity - Blues, Classic Rock and Pop Band. This should be another cracking day!
