Eccentric Penguin Productions Eccentric Penguin are a Midlands based theatre society; we’ve been performing annually in Tutbury, Staffordshire since 2014.

Our most recent production, Agatha Christie’s THE MIRROR CRACK’D, was on Fri 26th and Sat 27th June 2026 🎭. Founded in 2014, Eccentric Pengiun is a group of people who have got together to do what they love the most. Perform well-written plays in a professional way, but still enjoy the experience. We currently perform in Tutbury Village Hall, annually.

We did it! 💜

Thanks to everyone who bought a drink from our bar or donated during THE MIRROR CRACK’D last weekend, we’re delighted to share that we raised £220 for Sands.

A huge thank you to everyone who supported us, helped behind the bar, donated, or came along to cheer us on. It all adds up, and we’re so pleased to be able to support such an important charity.

Wow... what an incredible show weekend we’ve had! 🌟🎭

We’d like to say a HUGE thank you to everyone involved in the production: our wonderful cast, crew, front of house team, and everyone who helped bring the show together. And, of course, thank you to our fantastic audiences - you made it an absolute joy to perform for you ☺️.

The weekend has been a huge success (with just under 200 tickets sold in total!), and we’re now working through the final figures so we can share how much has been raised for our chosen charity, Sands - baby loss charity 🥰.

In the meantime, here are the rest of our dress rehearsal photos. We hope you enjoy looking through them, and thank you again for all your support. We absolutely love being able to bring our Summer play to life each year - and we couldn’t do it without you. 🌟🎭

A huge thank you to everyone who came along to last night’s performance of THE MIRROR CRACK’D.

We’re so grateful you joined us, stuck with us, and endured the heat in true theatre spirit! Your support, patience, and encouragement made such a difference, and it was wonderful to share the evening with such a lovely audience.

Tickets are still available for this evening’s final performance, so there’s still time to join us for one more night in St. Mary Mead…

And for those of you following the World Cup, we should hopefully be wrapped up around kick-off for England’s final group game! ⚽️

With 100 tickets sold so far for tomorrow night, we wanted to take this opportunity to say a huge thank you to everyone for your continued support 🙏🏻. We’ve put a lot of work into this production, and really hope you enjoy it 👍🏼.
