Dates for Hound of the Baskervilles are Thursday 21st - Saturday 23rd July at 7.30pm at the King's Arms, Rotherfield and Thursday 28th - Saturday 30th July at the Noah's Ark Inn, Lurgashall. Look forward to seeing you there!

AUDITION NOTICE

Hound of the Baskervilles from the wonderful story of Conan Doyle.

Audition at the Rotherfield Memorial Institute on Thursday 18th February at 7.30pm and Sunday 21st February at 11am. If you would like to audition and cannot make that date please contact me [email protected] . I’m sure you are all aware of the story but here is a very brief version.
Sir Henry is heir to the vast Baskerville fortune, a legacy that comes with the curse of death from a Hound that roams the moor. Holmes and Watson to the rescue, but can they discover the secrets in Baskerville Hall. What supernatural spirits lurk on the moor!

Sir Henry Baskerville Youngish Nobleman
Barrymore a butler slightly sinister
Kathy Stapleton a vivacious young woman
Jack her brother
Laura Lyons a very capable young woman
Perkins a maid
Lady Agatha Mortimer forceful medical doctor.

I have two versions I would like to try out. So please come along if you are interested. In one of the versions there is some doubling as there are more characters. The only persons that cannot be doubled yes you guessed Sherlock and Watson.

Dear All,

I do hope this post finds you well?

I am very pleased to say that the Pantiles Players is now back in full swing following a successful run of Ghosts by Henrik Ibsen in the Summer. To build on the success and momentum of the summer production, the committee have decided to put on a Music Hall Theatre production in November of this year and this email is to canvass interest, inform you of the details and let you know about audition dates etc.

So the performances of this extravaganza will be:

Lurgashall - 13th &14th of November

The Opera House Tunbridge Wells - 18th November (Quite the boon getting this venue!)

Rotherfield - 20th & 21st November

Staplecross - 27th & 28th November

Quite a commitment but I think you'll agree, an exciting opportunity especially with the rare opportunity to perform at the Opera House. The production needs to be of a very high standard and as such competition for casting will be tough!

Derek Holland will be directing the production and will be holding auditions on:

AUDITIONS - SUNDAY 6TH SEPTEMBER AT 14:00 AT THE ROTHERFIELD MEMORIAL INSTITUTE (DIRECTIONS PROVIDED UPON REQUEST)

If you would like to be considered but cannot make the audition date, please get in touch ASAP and we will attempt to accommodate a convenient time.

Rehearsals for Ghosts are well underway and it looks set to be a great show - performances will be on 24th and 25th of July at 7.30pm and 26th July at 3 pm at the King's Arms, Rotherfield, and the 31st July and 1st August at 7.45pm at the Noah's Ark Inn, Lurgashall.

Ghosts, our open-air summer production will be performed on Friday 24th, Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th July at the King's Arms in Rotherfield and Thursday 30th July, Friday 31st July and Saturday 1st August at the Noah's Ark Inn, Lurgashall. Directed by our own Barry Shyvers, it will be a great production so please come and see it!
