Take a wander through the Ope - the name for our passageway at the back of the Cornwall Playhouse auditorium, inspired by the tiny “opes” tucked between buildings in Cornish fishing and mining communities.

Pop in to see what’s happening behind the scenes, and chat to our brilliant Heritage Volunteers who’ll be on hand to share HfC’s stories.

During September, the Ope will be ready and waiting for you most weekdays, 11am – 3pm*

*The Ope will be closed Mon 07, Fri 11, Mon 14, and Mon 28 Sep for performances

We are closed for Bank Holiday Monday, including our Green Room Café ☕

The HfC team are taking a bank holiday break to reset and recharge, and that includes our café team as well as our Box Office. For this week, our phone lines will be open from 2pm - 5pm, Tue - Sat, and our Box Office counter will be open 10am - 2pm.

Our cafe will be open as usual from Tuesday - we'll see you then.
