Kids off school for the next few days due to the heat? ☀

Why not encourage them to create a piece for our Summer Youth Open Exhibition! It's free to apply, and open to everyone aged 8 to 19 🎨

This is a great opportunity for young people to showcase their artistic talents in our gallery this summer. All art mediums welcome, from paintings and textiles, to photographs and pottery. . . We can't wait to see what they create!

Miki Berenyi Trio will be performaing at The Old Town Hall in Trowbridge on Friday 13 November.

Miki Berenyi Trio released their debut album Tripla earlier this year to widespread international acclaim.

Miki Berenyi Trio, or MB3 for short, is named after its lead singer – a direct way to convey the presence of the former singer/co-guitarist of Lush, and one of the most instantly recognisable faces of the ‘90s. However, the songwriting is entirely a three-way collaboration by Miki Berenyi, KJ ‘Moose’ McKillop and Oliver Cherer, as the album title highlights, while acknowledging the mother tongue of Miki’s father: Tripla is Hungarian for ‘triple’.

Sam Grassie is coming to Trowbridge!

Sam is a Scottish fingerstyle guitarist and songwriter, gaining a reputation on the circuit for masterful guitar playing, raw songwriting & dynamic sets that traverse traditional folk, acoustic blues and American primitive.

Debut album “Where Two Hawk Fly” (Broadside Hacks) has been championed by BBC 2,3,6, Scotland and has led to tours with Ryley Walker, Daisy Rickman & Gwenifer Raymond and US Tour with Liam Grant.

139 years ago today, Lady Brown laid the foundation stone for The Old Town Hall. In her speech, she declared that “a Town Hall will be erected for the benefit of the inhabitants of Trowbridge”.

Lady Brown was the wife of Sir William Roger Brown, a local mill owner who commissioned and paid for The Old Town Hall to be built.

We're incredibly excited to announce Blue Water Giants are coming to Trowbridge this September!

The Blue Water Giants is awash with seasoned musos who bring fresh life to a world of original songs and records that - crucially - they themselves made their name performing.

Captained by Josh Philips (organist from the legendary Procol Harum) the all-British crew is anchored by Status Quo's John 'Rhino' Edwards on bass, driven by the excellent Neil Taylor on guitar from Tears for Fears and Robbie William's & power house Mel Gaynor on drums from Simple Minds.
