I am so excited to be holding a launch party for my NEW book, My Crochet Stitch Wardrobe - the lovely people at Grace & Son have offered to host and it’s going to be a really fun evening! It’s a FREE event, but you will need to sign up which will you can do by messaging me or popping into Graces. It will be an opportunity to buy a signed copy of the book, look through the samples (and try on for fit if you want to- most of them are available in 3 sizes!!), an exclusive out of hours shopping opportunity in the retail shop (which has amazing things including a wide selection of yarn!), free glass of fizz (or tea of coffee), free goody bag and a charity raffle to win a poncho made my me!! PLUS an exclusive offer on yarn- buy 3 balls get one free! So you can choose a project from the book, try on a sample to check the size you need to make, then buy the yarn you need to make it!! If you haven’t been to Graces before it’s on the high street in tring and there’s lots of local parking. And by the way, the book hasn’t reached its official publication date yet so this will be an early opportunity to buy it!!

I was very nervous arriving at crochet club this morning because some of the group had received their advance copies of my new book My Crochet Stitch Wardrobe. I was keen to find out what they thought of it and they very kindly let me film their reactions!! Here’s just a few first impressions, I’ve got lots more to share with you!

Eeek! Hello!! It’s me wearing a beret! This and my crochet triangle scarf (isn’t that a shawl?!) are coming to Sewing Street next Tuesday 6th October. My third show in a month- you must be bored of me by now 🤣 don’t worry I’ve got a whole month off after that!!

We are home from a fabulous weekend at Yarndale! Here are 5 of my highlights (it was hard to narrow it down to 5!!)
1. So much beautiful, inspiring crochet and knitting everywhere you look!
2. Meeting lots of lovely like-minded people. Some I already knew, some are new friends!!
3. Meeting Stephen West Stephen West - we happened to be having lunch on the same table and I was completely super starstruck!!
4. Bumping into a lady who was choosing yarn to make a jumper from My Granny Square Wardrobe! I can’t tell you how exciting this was- I squeaked ‘that’s my book!’ and asked to take a photo 🤣
5. The scenery, the views… wow! This one was taken from our Airbnb!!
