How are you all coping in this heat? I’ve been crafting despite being a bit quiet on this group. As usual I have a couple of projects on the go (see photos). Has anyone else done string art? I remember finding one from the 70’s in my loft.

Our craft club was held outside this week, which was lovely. We’ve also had quite a few new people join us…it is such a great way to make new friends.

Today i refurbished a 1960’s sewing box/footstool. I used vintage cute kitten curtain fabric. I then knocked it off the table, bending the hinges and making a hole in the fabric. Whoops 😬

Today I was gifted this 1960’s sewing box/footstool. I reupholstered it with cute kitten vintage curtain fabric. I decided to cover the inside of the lid as the original vinyl wasn’t in great condition.
I then accidentally knocked it off the table, bending the hinges and making a hole in the corner of the fabric. Whoops. 😬
